Northwest Rooms & Seattle Center Maps 2011

GeekGirlCon 2011 is in both the Seattle Center Northwest Rooms and the EMP Museum. Registration (lobby), the information booth (lobby), the exhibitor’s hall (Rainier Room), two programming rooms (Fidalgo and Lopez Rooms), and the gaming room (Shaw Room) are located in the Northwest Rooms. Two more programming rooms (the Learning Lab and JBL Theater) are located in the EMP Museum. The Northwest Rooms and EMP Museum are an eight minute walk from each other through the Seattle Center.

There are restrooms in both facilities with a family restroom located in the EMP Museum. ATMs, coffee shops, and fast food are located at the Center House, between both locations. The Inn at Queen Anne is two blocks from the Northwest Rooms, and the MarQueen Hotel is four blocks from the Northwest Rooms. Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood (where both hotels are) is located north of the Seattle Center and features tons of restaurants, shops, and three grocery stores.
