How to Request a Press Pass

GeekGirlCon welcomes the press to our event in October 2011! We greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about Geek Girls and our con. Because GeekGirlCon is a new organization, this year we are asking that all attendees, including media and press peeps, purchase passes to the event. (All GeekGirlCon staff and volunteers are buying their passes to support our efforts.)

To request a Press Pass:

1.      Purchase a pass to the convention. (Available from geekgirlcon.com or Brown Paper Tickets)

2.      Email pr@geekgirlcon.com to request an application. (Please add “Request for Press Pass” in the subject line.)

3.      Return the completed form to pr@geekgirlcon.com with proof of pass purchase.

4.      Look for email confirmation of your Press Pass from GeekGirlCon PR staff.

5.      Bring the confirmation email with you to GeekGirlCon and present it at registration.

If there are any issues or concerns with your application, you will be notified by GeekGirlCon PR staff, and you have the opportunity to fix it.

Each media outlet is limited to two (2) passes and each individual must apply separately.

Thank you for your support! Media and press who support GeekGirlCon in 2011 will have priority for press passes in 2012.
