Press Pass Registration
If you are a member of the press or part of a commercial media organization and wish to obtain coverage of GeekGirlCon ’13, you must fill out the Press Pass Request Form in order to be considered for approval. As of September 30, 2013, press pass registration has closed. There will be no on-site registration for media.
As we are still growing, we do not have free media passes available (even our staff has to purchase tickets!). However, we do have a limited number of discounted press passes ($25 for the weekend and $15 for a single day). The sooner you fill out the form below, the higher your chances of receiving a discounted pass.
What does a press pass do for you?
Press passes are good for entry into all events and exhibit halls. The first benefit of having a press pass is that you will be easily identified, making guests and celebrities more comfortable when you approach them. It also will make it easier for GeekGirlCon staff to quickly respond to your questions and connect you with the right person. Finally, it will help ensure you are notified of the opportunity to interview guests and are informed of any special press events we might be planning.
Passes must be worn at all times and will have both your name and organization on it. Any videotaping, filming, or recording of any manner at GeekGirlCon ’13 should be used exclusively for news; commercial use (reselling images or video) is not permitted.
