Are you an epic UX designer? Do you think fondly of the things that Nathan Smith has brought to the world? Do you rock so incredibly hard that Gene Simmons calls you for help with lyrics? Do you get your $(document).ready({ window.alert(‘jQuery On’); }); at the drop of a hat? Are you/do you like & support Geeks, Girls and Cons?

If you answered yes to the above, then GeekGirlCon needs you! We are quickly approaching our first annual convention, and we are looking to further improve our online presence. As a GeekGirlCon Web Designer you will help us fancy up our online presence, including but NOT limited to our website.

Some buzz words you might know:
jQuery, HTML, Photoshop, PHP, EVA Unit 00, Javascript, GLaDOS

Some things you can show us:
Design examples, work you have done, pictures of your puppy (using the hipster filter)

Why you want to volunteer:
GeekGirlCon. Really that is all you need to know. We are debuting our first annual convention on October 8th-9th in Seattle, Washington to celebrate the wonderful and diverse works, worlds and lifes of female geekdom. There is a lot of work left to do in order to get there and we are looking to add to our already-epic-awesome staff.

GeekGirlCon is 100% comprised of volunteers, and we hope you have 5-10 hours minimum a week to volunteer too!
